Tidy Tip Tuesday - Greasy Spoon and Buttery Cup

Greasy Spoons: Coat measuring
spoons with good oil or melted butter before you measure a sticky ingredient. Then measure the honey or peanut butter, etc. They will slip right out of the oiled spoon.

Buttery Cups: Coat measuring cups with either good oil or melted butter before you pour in a gooey ingredient, or better yet, line the cup with a piece of plastic wrap, coated with oil or butter. (Use cooking oil spray if you can find extra virgin olive oil spray.) The advantage is that once you have measured the molasses or maple syrup, etc., you can simply throw the plastic wrap away and rinse out the cup, since it should still be clean .
